About Textiles for Teens

This winter we introduce our new teen programming! Make it Here: Textiles for Teens takes our young adult students through an exploration of surface design. 

Like our other youth programs, we take an interdisciplinary approach where media are taught in specific sequences to show how they are inter-related. 

In this 6-week class, students will spend half the time weaving, and half the time exploring surface design processes such as resist dyeing (batik) and screen printing with dyes.
