Fashion's Night Out: Celebrating

Ecouterre.com with the Textile Arts Center presents: Fashion's Night Out Celebrating "Slow"

On September 10th come to the Textile Arts Center from 6-11 for a night filled with activities surrounding slow fashion.

6pm-7pm
Hacking Sustainable Fashion: A workshop hosted by Fashion Project’s Sarah Scaturro and Giana Gonzalez. Participants are led through the decoding of “sustainable” and asked to question their consumer choices and what fashion means to them.

7pm-8:30pm
Ecouterre.com hosts and moderates a sustainable design panel with speakers ranging from academia and entrepreneurship to design itself.  Panelist TBA.

8:30pm-11pm
Shopping Hours.  Designers TBA
Workshop Hours: Bags for the People, Sewing Rebellion, and a natural dyeing workshop.
