On Display at TAC Manhattan
American Stories
A collection of didactic decorative objects.
Annie Coggan has developed another American story through didactic decorative objects, now on display at TAC Manhattan. Just in time for ICFF, Coggan has designed and crafted, along with Candice Thompson and Corinne Olson, a series of chairs, chair covers and pillows that reflect this compelling story and others from the Civil War era. Coggan’s intention is to bring meaning and learning into decorative objects: a pillow can be didactic, and a chair can tell a tale.
On view at TAC Manhattan through May 31st
Reception: Sunday May 20th at 4:30-6:30pm.
